A Love Written in Golden Light

Morgan and Travis’ journey began during their senior year at East Carolina University. Routine workouts at the campus gym led to glances, and a brave ‘hello’ from Morgan sparked a connection that would change their lives.

Though graduation took them in different directions—Morgan to Charlotte, Travis to Raleigh—they stayed in touch. It wasn’t until the pandemic brought Morgan back to Benson, NC that their friendship reignited into something deeper.

Despite years of long distance, their bond only grew. On March 9, 2024, Travis proposed with a grand gesture: a surprise on the Carolina Panthers’ football field, complete with “Morgan, Will You Marry Me?” across the jumbotron. Family and friends secretly gathered nearby to celebrate their engagement.

Rooted in their Catholic faith and a deep love for family, Morgan and Travis were married on June 14, 2025, at Sacred Heart Church in downtown Raleigh, with a reception at The Umstead Hotel in Cary. Sprinkled with touches of Morgan’s Lebanese heritage, their wedding was a perfect blend of elegance, joy, and love.

Sacred Heart Church was filled with love and light as Morgan and Travis exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends.
